More to Life Than Shoes

More to Life Than Shoes is a group for women to help them to get inspired, make new friends and make it happen. There are groups that meet up monthly, but there was little opportunity for members to interact in between meetings. The MTLTS team were using Facebook as their social media tool, but it just wasn't meeting their needs. We were asked to make a recommendation about how to build a social network that met all the needs of MTLTS. After a thorough analysis of the market, we recommended using SocialGo. Barker Online Marketing built the site using this template package to meet the brief. We worked very closely together to design the architecture of the site and ensure that the site was usable for members and non-members, whilst preserving the privacy of members. The site will now allow the business to grow providing more ways for members to interact with each other, get more motivation and become more engaged with the brand.

The site has evolved since its launch in December 2010 and we continue to work closely with the MTLTS team.
